A Proud Moment For The Club

Our recent exhibition was made even more special with a visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Charnwood, who joined us to view the display. They spent time exploring over 80 printed photographs and also enjoyed the slideshow showcasing a wider selection of members’ work. During their visit, they took the opportunity to speak with several members, discussing the images on show and learning more about the stories behind them.

They commented on the impressive variety of photography, with images captured from locations all around the world alongside a number of familiar and much-loved local scenes. The Mayor and Mayoress were particularly struck by the overall quality of the work on display, making it a proud moment for the club and a fitting recognition of the talent and creativity of its members.
