Ulverscroft Camera Club is delighted to celebrate the achievements of club member Karen Lund, who has recently been featured on both BBC East Midlands Today and ITV Central News. Karen’s recognition comes through her volunteering work at Bradgate Park, where she has been supporting the People’s Trust for Endangered Species in their efforts to reintroduce Hazel Dormice.

Karen played a key role in helping to create and prepare the environment needed for the safe release of over 50 dormice, contributing to an important conservation project. Her commitment, passion, and hard work are a wonderful example of the positive impact our members make beyond photography, and we are incredibly proud to see her efforts recognised at a regional level.
